Your files and text

Every tool on ToolsNest — image, PDF, text, developer, design, typing and calculator — processes files and text locally in your browser. That content is not uploaded to ToolsNest servers, is not stored by us, and is released from memory when you clear a tool, reload or close the page. ToolsNest does not use AI services and does not send your content to any third-party processing API.

Typing test results

Your recent typing test scores are saved in your own browser's local storage so you can see your personal best. They are never sent to us; clearing site data removes them.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider may record standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, requested page and time) for security and reliability. These logs do not contain the contents of your files.

Cookies and advertising

ToolsNest does not currently set advertising or analytics cookies. If we introduce advertising or analytics in the future, this policy will be updated first and, where required by law (for example in the UK and EEA), we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies. You will be able to change your choice at any time from the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer.

Third-party services

Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the font files are requested.

Children

ToolsNest is a general-audience site and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data. Because we do not collect your files or accounts, there is usually no personal data for us to return. For any request, contact us.
